How the ranking works

Organisations are ranked only against others of the same type. Each gets a score out of 100. Half comes from the number of MS studies on ClinicalTrials.gov that list it as sponsor or collaborator. The other half comes from the number of MS papers on PubMed from 2021–2025 with an author at the organisation. Each half is measured against the highest count in that group.

The score measures activity, not quality or importance. A large company will register more trials than a small one, and a charity that funds research will often appear as a collaborator, not the sponsor. Name searches can miss studies or pick up unrelated ones. Every count links to the search behind it so you can check it.
